MicroSDHC Card Giveaway
Chip Chick is doing another giveaway. This time, they are giving away a 16 gigabyte MicroSDHC memory card! Participating is very easy. All you have to do is send them an email and answer a very simple question: what would you do with a 16 gigabyte memory card? I can come up with only one answer that makes sense, wich is recording video, but I think you’ll have to be a little bit more creative that that in order to win. But even if you don’t win, the second prize is a 2 gigabyte card. You have until next sunday (November 23) to enter the contest.
Holiday Eyeglass Frames
Zenni Optical has a special selection of eyeglass frames for the upcoming holiday season. This selection of Holiday frames includes around 100 of their most popular frames at special prices. Full rim, semi-rim or rimless frames are available, in either plastic, stainless steel, aluminium or even titanium (at very affordable prices). Quality frames can already be found for as little as $8.00! All frames are available in a wide range of different colors. Extra options you can go for are tinted glasses and snap-on sun lenses. These use a magnetic snap-on system instead of clips that can scratch or otherwise damage your glasses. Many of their frames can also be used with bifocal lenses.
Ordering is very easy. After picking a frame, you have to enter all the necessary prescription information, such as the correction needed for each eye, pupil distance and lens type. You can also choose the frame color, wether or not you want an anti reflection coating, the tint of the glasses (if you want this) and wether you want clip-on polarized sun lenses. The frame pictured here is a titanium half rim frame, suitable for both single- and bifocal lenses, and costs only $39.95, lenses included!

Optimus AUX Keyboard
“Art Lebedev” is synonymous with the following things: cool but unnecessary, hard to get, ridiculously expensive. This mini keyboard, like all their gadgets, fits that description perfectly. It’s a 15-key keypad with OLED displays under each key, like the Optimus Maximus. It will set you back $650, or $43.33 per key! Even though this would be cool for World of Warcraft, I’m not rich, crazy or stupid enough to spend that kind of money on a keyboard.

Asus P565
Asus’ new smartphone, the P565, seems like a worthy competitor to the HTC Touch Diamond. Here are some specs:
- 800 mHz CPU
- 2.8″ VGA display
- HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE support
- 256 Mb of storage
- 128 Mb of RAM
- Wifi and Bluethooth
- 3 megapixel camera with autofocus
- SDHC slot
The display is the same size and resolution as the Touch Diamond, but it’s got a faster CPU and, most important of all, a memory card slot!

Mini Donut Factory
Having your own donut factory is the wet dream of many sugar addicts. A full-sized one is a bit expensive and requires a lot of space, but luckily there’s a tabletop version now! This contraption form and fries fresh donuts. Being a mini donut factory, this produces mini donuts, of course. And when they’re done, you can put your frosting of choice on it.

Nintendo is full of crap, and here’s why
A week ago I got rid of my Wii. Nintendo kept promising they won’t forget core gamers, but still failed to deliver any games that weren’t another version of Mario or Zelda, a collection of childish mini-games or something that’s only enjoyable when you’re together with a bunch of drunk morons. The last more or less decent game was Metroid Prime 3 and after that: nothing! The only thing that I was slightly looking forward to is The Conduit, but it wouldn’t surprise me if that got canceled. Nintendo has given the core gamers the finger and turned to casual gamers instead.
But here’s what bothers me the most. The PS3 and XBox 360 have had a few serious price cuts. The Wii? Still costs the same as two years ago! You’d think they would at least launch a bundle with some extra games or accessories for the same price, but no. Or at least include a component cable! Nobody buys CRT TVs anymore! This one, however, baffles me. Take a look at this bundle:

It’s a Wiimote, Nunchuck and Wii Wheel. The price? $74.99. The total price if you bought each one of these accessories separately? $74.97! Usually, bundles like this are supposed to be cheaper, but instead Nintendo decided to make you pay more! Okay, it’s only 2 cents, but it still doesn’t make any sense at all!
I don’t care if Nintendo’s next console has mind-reading capabilities and ultra-realistic holographic environments, unless some real killer games are developed for it (and not announced first and then canceled, like Project H.A.M.M.E.R. or Final Fantasy: The Crystal Bearers, wich as far as I’m concerned is canceled, no matter what Square Enix claims) I’m not touching it!

Logitech diNuvo Mac Keyboard
Here’s Logitech’s new ultra-slim wireless Mac keyboard. While it’s a bit on the expensive side for a keyboard, it is claimed to have a 3 year battery life and has encryption for better security. It also has a touch-sensitive volume control and shortcut buttons for frequently used applications.

Denon Smart 102
The Denon Smart 102 home theatre set does pretty much everything a compact all-in-one setup should do. It plays CDs and DVDs (with 1080p upscaling), has an optional iPod dock and USB port for playing MP3s. It also has a network connection for streaming audio. It’s only a 2.1 system, but my opinion about that is that a high end 2.1 system is always better than an average 5.1 or 7.1 system.
Keep in mind, though, that this is no real competition for a complete home theatre setup with a separate receiver. It only has composite and S-video inputs, no component or HDMI inputs.
