Tokyoflash Watch

By admin | Dec 2, 2008

This watch doesn’t have hands or digits. In fact, it doesn’t even have a display! Instead, time is indicated by a series of leds that indicate 1 and 2 hour and 1, 5 and 10 minute increments. It’s made entirely from stainless steel and is available with red, green, blue or white leds. Flashy looking [...]

Nanovision Monitor Review

By admin | Dec 1, 2008

Remember the USB Displays with touchscreen functionality that you could only get in Korea? They’re available in the US and The Gadgeteers have reviewed it. I’m not gonna copy the entire review, so here’s a short summary. If you want all the functionality (display with webcam, microphone and touchscreen capabilities) you pay $199. The display [...]

World of Warcraft Keychain

By admin | Nov 30, 2008

J!nx has some new World of Warcraft merchandise in stock. Besides a nice selection of t-shirts, they have this keychain. It looks incredibly detailed for such a small thing. Great if you want a WoW gadget but don’t want to show it off badly enough to wear a WoW t-shirt!

Homer Simpson Doorbel

By admin | Nov 29, 2008

Instead of a boring “ding dong”, this doorbel has five quotes by Homer Simpson. It consists of a pushbutton with Homer’s face on it wich you attach to the wall, and a receiver (must be within 7-8 meters) featuring Homer in his favourite position. Except they forgot the beer. And the nachos.

By admin | Nov 28, 2008

If you don’t want some ugly router with protuding antennae in your living room, try this instead: a wifi router disguised as a vase, designed by Saudi Telecom! Yes, you can actually put flowers and water in it. It has ports for a LAN, VoIP phone and DSL, and it looks pretty nice. Now if [...]

Pin Clock

By admin | Nov 26, 2008

Everybody knows those pin sculptures that display whatever shape you push into it. This clock works the same way. Instead of a standard display it has a panel with pins that show the time. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an alarm function, so I doubt it’s very useful.

Glo Chess

By admin | Nov 24, 2008

This chess set sure looks futuristic! The board is made of a conductive material that makes the chess pieces glow on contact. It’s battery powered, so you won’t need a cable. The chess pieces can be stored in a compartment under the board. Too bad the board itself isn’t illuminated; that would have been even [...]

LG Prada 2 First Look

By admin | Nov 22, 2008

The people at Mega What TV have done a quick first look at the LG Prada 2. The original Prada was notorious for its slow interface, a problem that seems more or less fixed now. Also new is the slide-out keyboard, like on the HTC Touch Pro. A very unique accessory for it is a [...]

The Mother Of All Flashlights

By admin | Nov 21, 2008

Standard flashlights not powerful enough? Not even those huge Maglites that can double as a baton? Try this: the Sunforce! I don’t think the name is an overstatement. Barely portable anymore, and 40 minutes of light from the 12V 7Ah battery… Who the hell buys things like this?
