If you want to listen to your iPod in the car, there are several options. You could use an FM transmitter, wich is troubled by lots of interference. You could use a cassette adapter, but then you’d need a car stereo with a cassette player and those things are more or less dead. The best solution in that case is a car stereo with an iPod adapter.
Then there’s another problem: controlling your iPod. Everyone knows it’s dangerous to be looking at the display and fiddling with the touchpad while driving. This kit brings iPod controls to your car’s dashboard: the Harman Kardon Drive & Play. It consists of a display and control pad wich you can mount anywhere in your car. They both resemble the iPod’s controls and connect to a controller unit, to wich you connect your iPod. The Drive & Play units then take over the control, making it possible for you to control it without taking your eyes off the road.
