I have been using Pay Per Post for quite a while now, with great results. Izea, the social media advertising company wich runs it, has more to offer than just Pay Per Post, though.
A while ago they launched Social Spark. Social Spark is a social networking site for bloggers and advertisers. You can create a public profile for your blog, so advertisers can view it. This profile can also display information like visitor count, Alexa Rank, Real Rank, etcetera.
Like Pay Per Post, they also offer various ways to monetize your blog. You can write sponsored posts, wich work more or less the same way as Pay Per Post, but you can also go for blog sponsorships. When you sign up for a blog sponsorship, you have to put a pop-in advertisement on your website, and you get paid for every day the ad is active.
Finally, they also offer opportunities called “sparks”. These are not sponsored posts, but rather free ideas for blog posts. Great for when you’re out of ideas. The best feature, though, are the “Blog-u-Back” sparks. You write a post about someone else’s blog, and in turn they write about yours, wich is a great way for building links!
