Radio Controlled Spy Plane

By admin | Jun 27, 2008

Remote controlled planes are incredibly fun, and one that can take pictures is even more fun! This twin-engine plane has a wing span of 140 centimeters and a flying range of over 300 meters. The engines are ducted fan jets, wich look like actual jet engines (even though they are electric engines with propellers). The plane is controlled with thrust vector control, wich means the engine thrust is directed by turning the engines.
But the real fun is the camera, of course. It is housed in a dish on top of the fuselage, wich makes the plane looks like an Awacs-aircraft. The drawback is that it only has VGA resolution and can only store 26 pictures.
The plane comes with an extra battery pack and two chargers, one for home use and one you can use in a car. This means you can fly more or less non-stop; while you’re flying on one battery, you can recharge the other one!
