This backpack has a small solar panel and a range of connectors so you can charge your gadgets everywhere (when there’s enough light, at least). It has an iPod adapter (also works on the iPhone), mini USB, Samsung, LG, Motorola and Nokia connectors. The charge speed depends on the capacity of the battery you’re charging and, mostly of course, how much sunlight there is. What I would like to see is a backpack like this that you can add more solar cells to at will.
