The Falcon MVIX is an external harddrive enclosure with TV and network connections. It is intended as a storage device for video so you can play them on your tv, or it can be used to stream media from your pc to your tv. You can connect it with a network cable or wifi, although a cable is recommended for transferring large files.
The box has the following video outputs: composite, S-video, composite and HDMI. Supported audio and video formats are MPEG 1/2/4, VOB, WMV, DivX, XVid, MP3, OGG, WMA, AAC and AC3. Full HD resolutions are supported, and video can be upscaled to high definition.
Note that this is a harddrive enclosure, so you’ll need to add a harddrive yourself. All 3.5″ harddrives are supported.
