Alienware has designed a new high definition media server. Under the hood is a powerful server with up to four terabytes of drive space in a RAID-5 configuration. Behind the front panel are four hot swappable harddrive bays and a DVD writer. An optional Bluray writer is also available.
The server has two tuners, so you can record two channels at once. It is also possible to connect two more tuners, making it possible to record up to four channels! The rear panel hosts every possible kind of video input you can think of, and a gigabit network connection. Wireless connectivity is available as an option, but that would be rather slow for high definition media.
